Make Booking EASY for Your Clients 🛎️

You know what’s frustrating? Complicated booking processes. 😤 If you’ve been offering mini-sessions and asking clients to email you to reserve their spot, and then manually invoicing them—STOP ✋. That’s not the smoothest way to run your business!

Instead, streamline the booking process using software. Here are some great options:

  • Sprout Studio (My personal favorite for client management)
  • Big Cartel
  • Mini-session-specific booking software

A seamless booking experience is a must for a successful mini-session. Remember, the easier you make it for your client, the more likely they are to book! 📅💻

Answer ALL of Your Client’s Questions Before They Even Ask 📝

Communication is key 🔑 when it comes to running a smooth mini-session. You can’t spend the entire day of the session answering questions—you’re going to be busy snapping beautiful photos! 📷

So, think ahead. What are some questions your clients might have?

  • Where is the mini-session? 🗺️
  • Where do they park? 🚗
  • What should they expect during the session? 🤔
  • Do they need to bring anything specific? 🎒

Answer these questions in an email well in advance. Cover every detail so that your clients feel prepared and confident on the day of their session. Pro tip: if you get a question from one client, chances are others are wondering the same thing—address it in your communication with all clients. 📨

Create a Memorable Experience ✨

This is where you can truly stand out. Creating a fantastic experience for your clients will keep them coming back year after year! 🎉

It all starts with great communication (like we talked about above) but goes beyond that. How can you make your mini-session extra special? 🤩 Let me share a personal story:

During my Santa sessions one year, I decided to add a fun twist by giving kids reindeer food to feed the “reindeer” after their photos. 🦌 It was a HIT! The funny part? The horses were there the year before, but I hadn’t thought to include them in the experience. Sometimes, it just takes a little creativity to make your session extra memorable.

Think about what you can add to your session to create an unforgettable experience. Whether it’s reindeer food, small treats, or a collaboration with a local business (free cookies anyone? 🍪), these little touches will have clients talking about your sessions long after they’re over. ✨

Collaborate with Local Businesses 🤝

Another way to enhance the experience is by partnering with a local business. For example, you could collaborate with a nearby bakery to offer clients a free cookie after their session 🍪, or partner with a boutique to provide discounts. The possibilities are endless! 🛍️ Local collaborations not only add value for your clients but also help you build relationships in your community. 🌟
